| | | | | | | | | Rename and optimize internal function nftnl_set_lookup() for external use. Just like with nftnl_chain_list, use a hash table for fast set name lookups. Signed-off-by: Phil Sutter <phil@nwl.cc> Acked-by: Pablo Neira Ayuso <pablo@netfilter.org>

* src: remove nftnl_rule_cmp() and nftnl_expr_cmp()Pablo Neira Ayuso2018-10-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | These functions are not very useful, rule comparison from this layer does not work well with implicit set definitions. This infrastructure was added as an attempt to support for deletion by name from this layer, which should be done from higher level libnftables library. Finally, we never had a client for this code in git.netfilter.org. Let's remove it and bump libversion for safety reasons. Signed-off-by: Pablo Neira Ayuso <pablo@netfilter.org>

* src: get rid of aliases and compatPablo Neira Ayuso2016-12-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | This machinery was introduced to avoid sudden compilation breakage of old nftables releases. With the upcoming release of 0.7 (and 0.6 which is now 6 months old) this is not required anymore. Moreover, users gain nothing from older releases since they are half-boiled and buggy. So let's get rid of aliases now. Bump LIBVERSION and update map file. Signed-off-by: Pablo Neira Ayuso <pablo@netfilter.org>
* build: update LIBVERSION to prepare a new releasePablo Neira Ayuso2016-12-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | New interfaces has been added (bump revision), and no interfaces were removed (bump age). Update version: 1.0.7. Signed-off-by: Pablo Neira Ayuso <pablo@netfilter.org>

* build: bump library versioningJan Engelhardt2015-09-171-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Commit libnftnl-1.0.3-31-g5ea54b2 removed a symbol. Such requires a bumped to n+1:0:0. The symbol groups can be merged again to save time processing them as the groups are relative to a particular SONAME (of which we have a new one). * src: add nft_*_attr_{set|get}_data interfacePablo Neira Ayuso2014-02-271-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds two functions that allows you to validate the size of the attribute. This new functions provide a replacement for nft_rule_attr_set and nft_rule_attr_get. The data_len parameter was already passed to the {_set|_get} funcion in expressions. For consistency, add nft_rule_expr_{set|get}_data alias. Signed-off-by: Pablo Neira Ayuso <pablo@netfilter.org>
* src: add support for XML parsingArturo Borrero Gonzalez2013-05-231-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds capabilities for parsing a XML table/chain/rule. Some comments: * The XML data is case sensitive (so <chain>asd</chain> != <chain>ASD</chain> != <CHAIN>asd</CHAIN>) * All exported functions receive XML and return an object (table|chain|rule). * To compile the lib with XML parsing support, run './configure --with-xml-parsing' * XML parsing is done with libmxml (http://minixml.org). XML parsing depends on this external lib, this dependency is optional at compile time. NOTE: expr/target and expr/match binary data are exported. [ Fixed to compile without --with-xml-parsing --pablo ] Signed-off-by: Arturo Borrero González <arturo.borrero.glez@gmail.com>
