* src: rt: add keyword distinction for nexthop vs nexthop6Florian Westphal2017-09-291-1/+14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | the rt expression currently always sets NFT_RT_NEXTHOP4 and then uses the network base to determine if its really supposed to be NEXTHOP6. For inet, this will fail because the network base is not known, so this currently enforces need for "meta nfproto" to dermine the type. Allow following syntax instead: rt ip nexthop rt ip6 nexthop There is no need for a dependency anymore, as rt expression checks the hook protocol, ie. NEXTHOP4 will break if the hook pf is not NFPROTO_IPV4. Cc: Anders K. Pedersen <akp@cohaesio.com> Signed-off-by: Florian Westphal <fw@strlen.de>
* src: get rid of printfPhil Sutter2017-09-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch introduces nft_print()/nft_gmp_print() functions which have to be used instead of printf to output information that were previously send to stdout. These functions print to a FILE pointer defined in struct output_ctx. It is set by calling: | old_fp = nft_ctx_set_output(ctx, new_fp); Having an application-defined FILE pointer is actually quite flexible: Using fmemopen() or even fopencookie(), an application gains full control over what is printed and where it should go to. * rt: add path mtu supportFlorian Westphal2017-08-221-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | Only use case is to allow similar behaviour to iptables TCPMSS --clamp-mss-to-pmtu, by combining this with exthdr statement: tcp option maxseg size set rt mtu Signed-off-by: Florian Westphal <fw@strlen.de> Acked-by: Pablo Neira Ayuso <pablo@netfilter.org>
* src: Remove __init and __exit macro definitions.Varsha Rao2017-07-171-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Add nft_init and nft_exit functions, which calls _init and _exit functions in main.c file. Remove __init and __exit macro definitions as libnftables library will be created soon. Rename realm_table_init() and realm_table_exit() functions to avoid ambiguity as realm_table_rt_init(), realm_table_meta_init, realm_table_rt_exit() and realm_table_meta_exit() in rt.c and meta.c files. * include: Remove datatype_register().Varsha Rao2017-06-301-6/+1
| | | | | | | | Remove datatype_register() function and its calling __init functions. Add arguments of datatype_register() function to datatype array. Signed-off-by: Varsha Rao <rvarsha016@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Pablo Neira Ayuso <pablo@netfilter.org>
* src: Pass stateless, numeric, ip2name and handle variables as structure members.Varsha Rao2017-06-181-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | libnftables library will be created soon. So declare numeric_output, stateless_output, ip2name_output and handle_output as members of structure output_ctx, instead of global variables. Rename these variables as following, numeric_output -> numeric stateless_output -> stateless ip2name_output -> ip2name handle_output -> handle Also add struct output_ctx *octx as member of struct netlink_ctx. * rt: introduce routing expressionAnders K. Pedersen2016-10-281-0/+141
Introduce rt expression for routing related data with support for nexthop (i.e. the directly connected IP address that an outgoing packet is sent to), which can be used either for matching or accounting, eg. # nft add rule filter postrouting \ ip daddr 192.168.1.0/24 rt nexthop != 192.168.0.1 drop This will drop any traffic to 192.168.1.0/24 that is not routed via 192.168.0.1. # nft add rule filter postrouting \ flow table acct { rt nexthop timeout 600s counter } # nft add rule ip6 filter postrouting \ flow table acct { rt nexthop timeout 600s counter } These rules count outgoing traffic per nexthop. Note that the timeout releases an entry if no traffic is seen for this nexthop within 10 minutes. # nft add rule inet filter postrouting \ ether type ip \ flow table acct { rt nexthop timeout 600s counter } # nft add rule inet filter postrouting \ ether type ip6 \ flow table acct { rt nexthop timeout 600s counter } Same as above, but via the inet family, where the ether type must be specified explicitly. "rt classid" is also implemented identical to "meta rtclassid", since it is more logical to have this match in the routing expression going forward. Signed-off-by: Anders K.
