* src: queue: consolidate queue statement syntaxPablo Neira Ayuso2021-08-201-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | Print queue statement using the 'queue ... to' syntax to consolidate the syntax around Florian's proposal introduced in 6cf0f2c17bfb ("src: queue: allow use of arbitrary queue expressions"). Retain backward compatibility, 'queue num' syntax is still allowed. Update and add new tests. Signed-off-by: Pablo Neira Ayuso <pablo@netfilter.org>
* parser: permit symbolic define for 'queue num' againFlorian Westphal2021-08-201-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | WHen I simplified the parser to restrict 'queue num' I forgot that instead of range and immediate value its also allowed to pass in a variable expression, e.g. define myq = 0 add rule ... 'queue num $myq bypass' Allow those as well and add a test case for this. * mergesort: find base value expression type via recursionPablo Neira Ayuso2020-09-041-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Sets that store flags might contain a mixture of values and binary operations. Find the base value type via recursion to compare the expressions. Make sure concatenations are listed in a deterministic way via concat_expr_msort_value() which builds a mpz value with the tuple. Adjust a few tests after this update since listing differs after this update. Fixes: 14ee0a979b62 ("src: sort set elements in netlink_get_setelems()") Fixes: 3926a3369bb5 ("mergesort: unbreak listing with binops") Signed-off-by: Pablo Neira Ayuso <pablo@netfilter.org>
* payload: refine payload expr mergingFlorian Westphal2019-01-111-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | nf_tables can handle payload exprs for sizes <= sizeof(u32) via a direct operation from the eval loop, rather than a a call to the payload expression. Two loads for four byte quantities are thus faster than a single load for an 8 byte load. ip saddr 1.2.3.4 ip daddr 2.3.4.5 is faster with this applied, even though it involves two payload and two two compare expressions, just because all can be handled from the main loop without any calls to expression ops. Keep merging for linklayer and when at least one of the expressions already exceeded the 4 byte "limit" anyway. * tests: shell: fix 0012different_defines_0 with meta markPablo Neira Ayuso2018-08-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | Since 6dd848339444 ("src: meta: always prefix 'meta' for almost all tokens"), the unqualified meta are discouraged. Adjust test not to fail. Signed-off-by: Pablo Neira Ayuso <pablo@netfilter.org>
* tests: shell: autogenerate dump verificationLaura Garcia Liebana2018-03-091-0/+16
Complete the automated shell tests with the verification of the test file dump, only for positive tests and if the test execution was successful. It's able to generate the dump file with the -g option. Example: # ./run-tests.sh -g testcases/chains/0001jumps_0 The dump files are generated in the same path in the folder named dumps/ with .nft extension. It has been avoided the dump verification code in every test file. Signed-off-by: Laura Garcia Liebana <nevola@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Pablo Neira Ayuso <pablo@netfilter.org>
